- Why use a portfolio?
I didn't even know this way of documenting an entire investigation existed. I am in awe of how far I can go using this tool; when I get on my computer, I am immersed in an endless world of learning possibilities and ways to share my work with the rest of the world. It is a real opportunity to show who you are and where you want to go, it may sound a bit silly, but this is my diary, like when I was a child when I spent hours writing my most precious anecdotes. Connecting with others is integral to using the portfolio; we generate connections and develop significant learning. Also, another thing that I am delighted about is that you move ideas and thoughts of other people, and in this way, we create influence in Other people; we are in the age of technology, of social networks as a way of life in addition to the internet as a work tool, we must use all this as a way to create an impact on others, use it positively to contribute to the society that each time we are demanded to be better people and to contribute to constant change. Ten years ago, when I did my bachelor's, the way to demonstrate my four years of work was in a thesis in which I wrote over 100 pages, and my teacher had to read everything to be able to give me a grade; II had to pay much money to imitate pages and pages, wow things have changed now with a single click I can show my work day by day. I'm not saying that writing this doesn't seem right; on the contrary, sometimes it relaxes me when I take a pencil and a piece of paper and put my ideas on a piece of paper, but I am amazed at how technology has advanced and our scope. If you ask me if I recommend using the portfolio, you have missed a lot without using this excellent tool. Who is in charge of the portfolio? Let me explain the significance of each COVA acronym in relation to the e-Portfolio. COVA stands for Choose, Ownership, Voice, and Authentic learning opportunities. With the freedom to Choose, you can express yourself and customize your work according to your preferences and needs. Ownership means that the thoughts and ideas captured in your ePortfolio belong to you. You also have the opportunity to use your own Voice to revise and restructure your work and ideas. The Authentic learning opportunities offered by the e-Portfolio allow you to create and innovate something original and influential. The e-Portfolio is a key to the success of your project. You can work at your own pace and in your own way, and you own something incredibly valuable - your ideas. The e-Portfolio is like a magic ball that reveals a lot about you, your identity, and your purpose. Moreover, by incorporating "Creating significant learning environments" or CSLE, as a learning facilitator, we can add a special touch to all of these elements. By using COVA+CSLE to structure your e-Portfolio, you can ensure that your work will be a success. Wix website, 2023. Related posts: Growth of mindset Why use a portfolio?

- Hey, are you up for taking a trip back in time?
The current era we live in has witnessed a significant transformation in education. Speaking from personal experience, I was enrolled in a traditional school where the teachers employed an authoritarian approach and even resorted to physical punishment for students' mistakes. However, it has become apparent to me that this approach is outdated. In recent years, the focus on education has shifted towards encouraging students to learn for themselves and acquire skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. The latter part of the video evoked memories of the Montessori method, where children learn through exploration and interaction with their environment. This approach emphasizes the importance of a child's natural curiosity, creativity, and need for self-direction in learning. What is change in education? The concept of educational change refers to the actions that have been applied for several years with the aim of improving education, according to current needs. This is why it is extremely important to focus on the needs of the students, as Dr. H said in his last class, in which he spoke that it is indeed important to focus on technology, but first of all, I must take into account what is that my students need if you focus only on technology, unfortunately, I think we would go astray.
