Influencer

Strategy

In the influencer model, success in any project requires making changes in two key areas: ability and motivation. This involves making changes in social, personal, and structural spheres. I will be using the 6 models of influence in my Innovation Proposal to illustrate how these changes can be implemented effectively. Join me as I delve into this topic further.

Goal

80% of the Pre-K class sessions will participate in rotating math stations using Blended Learning at the designated time for the subject.

Target

The people I want to follow as influencers include: fellow students, colleagues, institution administrators, parents, and authors (visit my Literature Review) who have expertise in blended learning and math.

Organizational influencers

"Influencers who are elected by their peers are more committed, motivated, successful and effective as catalysts for implementing change. These influencers can become your change agents, enabling the organization to start transforming. What is important for the influencer is to understand how important and integral their role is ineffective organizational change management." • Create a mission and vision of the expectations of the investigation both in class with the students and with the team and work.

  • The teacher's achievement is reflected in their student’s success, in this way, we will create a sense of positivity not only in the teacher but also in the entire school community

  • Acquire a sense of commitment to the subject and trust in the learning process.

  • Take into account teamwork as a way to establish positive relationships.

  • Create a comfortable learning environment since the work area is important for developing and inspiring ideas.

  • Design activities for students to take their own initiatives.

  • Develop a commitment plan so that all the people involved can set goals.

  • Create a meeting agenda with the work team to discuss important points, achievements and difficulties.

  • The teacher must set up the classroom, in this case, organize the rotation stations and decorate with the Growth of Mindset message to promote a safe and comfortable environment for all the people involved and generate authentic learning in the students.

  • Understand how students feel about implementing a new work technique.

  • Seek the opinion of the work team and understand how committed they are to the project.

  • Encourage parents to support their children at home with the tasks that will be assigned for feedback on what they learned in class, as well as try to create awareness of the importance of the project for their children's learning.

  • Share students' work on networks so that other people can see how students are learning mathematics in a different and fun way, let the community know that there are different alternatives to help children learn.

  • Share evidence and positive results with the work team to generate a greater sense of commitment.

  • Make posts on the official social networks of my project and share it with the entire community so that our work reaches many more people.

  • Encourage the community to invest time in the project by letting them know that attending the meetings will make for a better team relationship and therefore if the work improves, the students will too.

  • Reward student work, and create the sense that all hard work is rewarded, applying Growth of Mindset to unfavorable results, creating positive thinking.

  • Highlight the achievements of the students by letting the school community, parents, administrators and social networks know the achievement obtained after having worked hard.

  • Make a campaign in networks of the results obtained from learning through Blended Learning, to encourage more teachers to include it in their classrooms with their students, taking their needs into account.

  • Make sure students have the equipment to develop rotation stations, iPads, headphones, and teaching materials for game stations and small groups.

  • Use the Implementation Outline in the Innovation Proposal to report student achievement, taking into account evaluation times. This enables analysis of mathematics progress percentages.

  • Create feedback surveys to take into account the opinion of parents, co-workers and managers.

  • Create an action plan for the school year, considering feedback from surveys, meetings, and social media. Address student needs and challenges.
